Publication Fees:

Aging Biology depends on the payment of article processing charges (APCs) to finance its operations. Papers are accepted or rejected for publication and published solely on the basis of merit. Aging Biology will grant waivers for authors who do not have funding to cover APCs (for example, early career authors with insufficient funding or authors from lower-income countries).

Open Access Policy:

All Aging Biology articles are free to read immediately after publication, without a subscription.

Licensing:

Articles published by Aging Biology are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license. Others are free to copy, distribute, and reuse them (in part or in full), without needing to seek permission, as long as the author and original source are properly cited. This license provides an industry-standard framework to support easy re-use of open access material. Under Creative Commons license, authors retain copyright of their articles.
